J. commanded 1860 E landed by mustards transmit Comicsticiers (sic) of the Admiralty, to be laid before him, copy of Letter from Vice Admiral Hope, respecting the perpetual lease from the Governor General of Canton, to the Government of the Convention of Kowloon and Stone Cutters Island, and suggesting that the Maritime Government will not grant any portion of the Peninsula, either for Colonial or other purposes, until the unto (the) Annexation oftate (of the territory).
